The BAFCA Board is a Sub Committee within BAFA’s Framework. The Board provides oversight and direction to American Football coaching & coach education in the UK.

President: Coach Wayne Hill
Coach Hill is the President of the BAFCA Board, providing leadership and direction to BAFA’s coaching initiatives.
Coach Hill is a decorated member of the British American Football community, and currently serves as the Head Coach of the Birmingham Lions Women’s Team.

Vice President: Coach Jon Wyse
Coach Wyse is the Vice President of the BAFCA Board, bringing strategic insight and vision to the development of coaching in the UK.
Coach Wyse has an extensive playing & coaching career, and continues to play at an MVP level for the Staffordshire Surge

Director of Education: Coach Lydon Ward-Best
Coach Ward-Best is the Director of Education for BAFCA, responsible for developing comprehensive coaching education programs that elevate the standard of American football coaching across Great Britain.
Coach Ward-Best is a prominent member of the coaching community in the South West, currently coaching as the Offensive Coordinator for the Bristol Aztecs and the University of Exeter Demons.

Director of Finance: Coach Ieuan Tucker
As the Director of Finance for BAFCA, Coach Tucker brings strategic financial oversight and fiscal management to support the organisation’s growth and development.
Coach Tucker is a notable figure within flag football, currently an Assistant Coach for Great Britain Women’s Flag and Head Coach of the Southern Fleet.

Director of Development: Coach Pete Laird
Coach Laird serves as Director of Development for BAFCA, and is focused on strengthening the organization’s infrastructure, strategic partnerships, and long-term sustainability within the British American football community.
Coach Laird is a longstanding member of the coaching community in Scotland, and is the Head Coach of the Edinburgh Napier University Knights.

Director Without Portfolio: Coach Ian Hiscock
As a Director Without Portfolio of the BAFCA Board, Coach Hiscock works on a variety of multifaceted projects supporting the growth and development of American Football coaching in the UK.
Coach Hiscock has a growing reputation within the coaching community from his roles as the Head Coach of the University of Oxford Lancers, and Assistant Head Coach & Offensive Coordinator of the Oxford Saints.

Director Without Portfolio: Coach Dave Gibbs
Coach Gibbs is a Director Without Portfolio on the BAFCA Board, leading on a number of digital projects & activities to support coaching development.
Coach Gibbs maintains a busy schedule on the field, currently working as the Offensive Coordinator for Great Britain and Head Coach of the Solent Thrashers.
