BAFCA Qualification Additional Components
Prior to undertaking the BAFCA Level 1 or BAFCA Level 2 Qualifications the following additional components are required prior to certification.

NB: For CONTACT Coaches they should select – Contact – 12+. For FLAG Coaches they should select – Non Contact – 12+
UK Coaching Duty of Care Badge OR Safeguarding Level 1 if coaching players 18 and below

There is no specific Safeguarding provider BAFCA recommends due to the amount of providers and the fact that some of our learners may already hold a Safeguarding qualification as part of their main jobs.

BAFCA Level 2 Qualification Additional Components
Learners undertaking the BAFCA Level 2 qualification also need to complete the USA Football Coaching Certification and hold a Safeguarding Level 1. Additionally to this they should hold a valid First Adi Certificate.
There is no specific First Aid provider BAFCA recommends due to the amount of providers and the fact that some of our participants may already hold aFirst Aid qualification as part of their main jobs. Below are some online providers:
