To be eligible for upcoming seasons, you must hold an active BAFCA Level 1 qualification or higher at the point of registration. If your qualification is up for renewal, we have created this resource for coaches to quickly get re-certified and be eligible to coach.

- How do I upload my BAFCA Level 1 and Level 2 certificates?
All certificates should be uploaded into the credentials section of your Just Go BAFA profile, categorised as follows:
- BAFCA Pre-2021:
For qualifications obtained before 2021. - For courses between 2021 and Sept 2024:

- What is the verification and compliance process for qualifications?
All members must provide proof of their Level 1 or Level 2 coaching qualifications during registration. BAFCA audits submissions daily. Incorrect documentation or attempts to register as a “Non-Coaching Member” while actively coaching will result in immediate suspension of BAFA membership. Reinstatement requires proper proof of certification or the necessary qualification completion.
- What is the “Non-Coaching Member” category?
The “Non-Coaching Member” category is exclusively for support staff (e.g., photographers, medical staff, film crew). Coaches without a valid qualification should not register under this category.
- What is the process for completing or updating qualifications?
The new BAFCA qualification portal via Sports Structures allows coaches to complete their qualifications efficiently, even with evening-only study sessions. Begin your learning components immediately after enrolment to fast-track your progress. - What qualifications are required to participate in the upcoming season?
An active BAFCA Level 1 qualification (or higher) is required at registration. Expired qualifications must be renewed prior to registration. Upload all relevant certificates to your BAFA Just Go Membership Profile.
- How can I renew my qualification if it has expired?
- If your qualification expired within the last year: Provided you have uploaded sufficient CPD points to the Just Go system, email info@bafca.co.uk to verify and approve your points for revalidation.
- If your qualification expired over a year ago and lacks sufficient CPD points: You will need to retake the qualification. Upcoming course dates are available on the website.
- How do I submit my CPD points for renewal?
To renew your certification, upload a minimum of 40 CPD points to your Just Go profile. This will extend your certification for an additional four years. Ensure timely approval by following CPD guidance: CPD Points Guidance.
- How should CPD certificates be uploaded?
